Lithograph in colours printed in 1949 for the National Ski Association of America as the headline programme of events for the FIS World Ski Championships of 1950 held in Lake Placid, New York (Nordic events) and Aspen, Colorado (Alpine events). This smaller format image by Herbert Bayer is the companion image to the main logo of the championships and shows a gold medal over a stylised alpine scene.
