Lithograph in monochromes from an original Leica plate printed for the Austrian Federal Railways by Elbemuhl of Vienna in 1937 (approx) promoting train travel to the Austrian winter sport resorts. Early photographic poster, of which this is a prime example, are now highly collectable. Preservation linen-backed with no condition issues this fabulous image of a shirt-sleeved skier flanked by his wooden skis is both highly effective and evocative. Very scarce indeed, particularly in this condition.
