A remarkable lithograph in colours paying homage to the republican ‘winter’ skiing soldiers (e-squi-adores) who took part in the Battle of Guadarrama (Spanish: Batalla de Guadarrama, also known as Batalla de Somosierra) which was a battle early in the Spanish civil war involving troops loyal to the Second Spanish Republic in the Guadarrama Range. The composer or printer is unknown but this is a lovely, evocative poster of the times printed on or after 1939 and offered in excellent original condition.
