Lithograph in colours published by Lucien Serre of Paris for the Alsace and Lorraine Railway company in 1936 still bearing its commercial hanging tax stamp of 1 May 1936. Markstein was opened as a resort in 1935 and this is the very rare inaugural English language version of the adverting poster promoting the new Vosges resort. Superb art deco graphics and colouration. The poster exhibits beautifully and has no condition issues, ready to frame.
