Lithograph in colours printed in 1956 by Sauberlin & Pfeiffer, Vevey for the Montreux-Bernese-Oberland railway company.
This charming line runs from Montreux, through the Golden Pass, to the Bernese Oberland, Gstaad, Interlaken and terminates at the the Jungfrau. Another masterpiece of graphic art from Peikert, this example being the Italian language version of this very scarce poster.
Condition is generally excellent, warranting an A/A- however the lowest 2cm of the poster has been cropped in the past, perhaps to accommodate to an existing frame – thus we give this example a B+ rating and have priced it accordingly at a significant discount.
