Lithograph in colours printed by and for the Toko ski wax company. Toko is a Swiss-engineered brand of high-performance ski and snowboard wax, still going strong today – www.toko.ch. Established in 1916 in Altstätten, Switzerland, by Jakob Tobler, Toko began as a household chemical company before producing its first ski wax in 1933. This very handsome skier exudes a quiet timeless confidence, making a very retro and funky poster yet also refined with great fifties colours.
An A- original poster in prime original condition – which would have been an A condition but for three hard to see horizontal folds where the poster was stored for many years. A lovely piece ready to hang.
