Lithograph in colours printed in 1950 (approx) by Bahy, Mulhouse promoting skiing in the high French Alpine resort of Val d’Isere. This is an exceptionally rare poster by the master poster artist Savignac, and a very early advertising poster for what was then a new ski resort. An unusual composition, this deceptively simple powder image is masterful in its execution. Offered in mint, original condition and backed to linen. Very rare indeed.
